| Description: | The Temple of Ptah will be celebrating the "Harvest Festival of Renenutet" on Sunday with a limited open invitation to none temple members. The annual "Harvest Festival of Renenutet Ritual" is an Egyptian ritual of offering to Renenutet the harvest Goddess. The ritual will be followed by a feast of Egyptian foods. The Ritual will be led by the staff of the Temple of Ptah as well as other members of the Church of the Eternal Source. Food offerings will be consumed after the ritual. We are limited to the amount to people to be invited due to space requirements. We are limiting outside people to those that we have met before at the meet and greet meeings we have held previously. The Temple of Ptah is a Neo-Egyptian Kemetic temple of the Church of the Eternal Source, the oldest Kemetic organization in the U.S. The Temple of Ptah is holding Meet and Greets discussion meetings to aquaint interested people with the Temple of Ptah as well as other persons who are into the ancient Egyptian traditions. Learn about what the Temple of Ptah does, the classes it gives, the Festivals we celebrate and many other things. Get together with like minded people from eclectic wiccans to Fellowship of Isis members. For those people who want to know more about the Ancient Egyptian religions, meet more like minded people or to incorporate some Ancient Egyptian practices into theirs. Also these meet and greets are for people who wish to participate or attend Temple festivals and rituals. | |
