| Description: | The City of Portlands Bureau of Environmental Services (BES) is hosting the second annual Ecoroof PDX to provide the building design and development community, homeowners, building owners and non-profit organizations with information and technical assistance about ecoroofs. Ecoroofs replace conventional roofing with a living, breathing vegetated roof system and significantly decreases stormwater runoff, saves energy, reduces pollution/erosion and helps preserve fish habitat. Featured vendors and speakers include Ecoroof Experts that are architects, consultants, contractors, landscape architects, manufacturers, nurseries, structural engineers, suppliers, research and non-profit and community organizations.
