| Description: | Willamette Valley Brews & Blues Festival Benefitting Eugene/Springfield Habitat for Humanity. An official food drive for "FOOD for Lane County." Breweries from throughout the northwest, "Best of the Fest" brewers contest, top of the line blues performances, wineries, artists and artisans. "Plein Air" artists will paint throughout the festival on Saturday, with their artwork being auctioned off for the cause. There will be a Kid Zone on Saturday with a "Blues in the Schools" presentation by the Rainy Day Blues Society, as well as raft trips with Oregon River Sports, and an appearance by the U of O Duck. The Friday headliner is Grammy nominated vocalist Ellen Whyte. Also performing, The Love Sisters featuring Deb Cleveland and Barbara Healy; the Ty Curtis Band; the MEMA All Stars with Paul J. Biondi and Bill Shreve; Michael Tracey and the Hi-Tones and Tony Rae and Common Ground. Saturdays headliners are "The Godfather of Oregon Blues" Bill Rhoades and the Party Kings with special guests TBA; Jerry Zybach and his Blues Scoundrels with special guests including slide master Henry Cooper; Skip Jones and the Spirit of New Orleans; Blue Moon Society; The Karen Lovely Band; Bajuana Tea; the first annual "WVBBF Harmonica Show Off" hosted by Dino Allbaugh, and a Songwriters Forum with Carl "Bus Man" Faddis, Rob Tobias, Al Rivers and Peter Giri. Admission $6.00 plus 3 non-perishible food items. Price includes commemorative glass for those over 21. Under 12 free accompanied by adult.
