In Garibaldi, the 4th weekend of every July is reserved for the annual Garibaldi Days celebration. The three-day event brings hundreds of visitors, including many former residents, to town for planned and impromptu reunions and other activities.

The festivities kick off on Friday afternoon with scheduled trips by the Oregon Coast Scenic Railway from Garibaldi to Rockaway Beach. One of the main events is the annual Garibaldi Days Parade, which starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Hundreds of spectators line the parade route up Garibaldi Avenue (U.S. Highway 101) from the Old Mill Entrance to Seventh Street as parade units representing organizations from all over Tillamook County and beyond pass in review.

Following the parade, live entertainment is offered in Memorial Lumbermans Park into the evening. Dozens of vendors also are on hand offering a variety of food, refreshments and other items for sale. Live music will be featured in the food court area at S. Sixth Street and Garibaldi Avenue (mid-town). This year, children's activities including a fishing tank, go karts, a Gyro ride and the Rowdy Refs stage show and magic show will Gyro Ridebe located near Lumbermen's Park. During Saturday afternoon, Patrick the Magician will hold a magic class for the kids that's sure to be a lot of fun!

Karaoke for the teens will be a hit again this year - look for it Saturday evening at Old Mill, beginning at 7 pm. A fireworks display over the harbor caps the days activities.

On Sunday, visitors are invited to stroll through Lumbermans Memorial Park, snack at the concession stands and ride the railway until late afternoon. Live music will be featured in the food court area on S. 6th Street that day, as well.
