Since 1996, on the first full weekend of August, there has been a wonderful gathering of blue grassers in the little coastal town of Clatskanie, Oregon. Well, this year it's happening again and we would like to invite you to join us!

A tradition in the Northwest, the Clatskanie Bluegrass Festival is founded, and grounded, on traditional bluegrass content. There are many bluegrass festivals all over the United States, but this event is so much more than that. It's a yearly gathering of friends and family who get together each August to celebrate bluegrass music in a family atmosphere. If you're wondering who the "family" is, remember this: if you're a bluegrass picker or grinner, you're part of the family.

Not only will you get three days of great bluegrass music here, you'll also be treated to a FREE breakfast Friday & Saturday mornings. Pancakes and eggs are yours for the taking. We gladly accept donations to help defer costs but these are by no means required. Thursday evening, enjoy our chili/corn-on-the-cob feed, and take part in our cornbread cooking contest!

Clatskanie is a wonderful, all-American, small town located approximately 35 miles east of Astoria, Oregon, on Highway 30 in the beautiful, green Coastal Range Mountains near the Mighty Columbia River. We love this town, and we are confident you will too. The Festival is held in Clatskanie City Park.
