2014 BAY AREA FUN FESTIVAL

Every year for 39 years, the Bay Area Fun Festival has brought together 25,000 locals and visitors just for the fun of it!

The Bay Area Fun Festival offers a variety of activities and free events over 3 days; Highlights of the festival include the Prefontaine Memorial run honoring Coos Bays son Steve Prefontaine, one of the largest themed parades on the south coast, the largest classic car cruise with more than 500 vintage vehicles, live entertainment, a vendor street fair, festival foods, kids activities, beer and wine garden and more. Dont miss the Rockfest gem and rock show, quilt show and a classic car show and shine.

Over the years residents have struggled through many major events, some of which could bring a community to a halt. But then like clockwork, September arrives and everyone can set aside their struggles and come together for the fun of it.

Most activities are free, so set aside any struggles and join us at the Bay Area Fun Festival downtown Coos Bay and in the surrounding areas September 19, 20, 21 2014!
