Country Way and Summer Days... the 2015 theme
Country Ways and Summer Days is the 2015 Gilliam County Fair theme and Karen Wilde has been named the 2015 Grand Marshal. The County Fair will feature exhibits, animals, a Childrens Fair, fun activities on the midway and music for everyone, an ATV rodeo, and the kickoff Oregon High School Rodeo.

The fair will be held September 2nd through September 6th, 2015, Labor Day weekend, at the Gilliam County Fairgrounds in Condon, Oregon.

Planning is in full production for the 2015 fair, with lots of activities to keep all ages entertained and active throughout the festivities. Gilliam County residents be sure and read the schedule of events when you receive your fairbook as a few events have changed in this years fair schedule. The High School Rodeo will be held Sunday, September 5th and Monday, September 6th. Anyone wishing to advertise in the fairbook please contact Becky Chase at (***) ***-****, the advertisements will be in color and there isnt a better way to reach your community and support your local county fair.

The Fairboard is proud to honor Karen Wilde as the 2015 Grand Marshal. Karen has been very active during the fair for many years as the Beef Superintendent, now retired. In addition she is active throughout the county volunteering her time and efforts, the Gilliam County Historical Society has benefited greatly from her presence. Karen and her husband Gary own and operate Wilde Ranches and GMW Industries at their home ranch in Olex.
