On August of 2017 the people of Junction City, Oregon will celebrate the 57th Scandinavian Festival. Whether you prefer to participate or just observe, the Scandinavian Festival offers a wide variety of events for the whole family. Trolls and Vikings stroll through the streets posing for pictures and playing pranks.

There are 3 stages of entertainment filled with choral and instrumental groups, folk dancers that perform and instruct, and lots of informational demonstrations and presentations throughout the four days of Festival. Visitors can find unusual handcrafts such as Hardanger Embroidery, bobbin lace, and Rosemaling displayed and sold among the paintings, woodcrafts and jewelry. The food offered has something for everyone, from the aebelskivers to Viking burgers.

There is no entry fee and the entertainment is free, visitors pay only for food or craft items.
