This crowd-pleasing annual tradition starts with a 7 a.m. pancake breakfast. Come early to get your seat along the parade route. When planes buzz downtown at 11 a.m., it's the signal to start the parade. From beauty queens and marching bands to fire engines and cyclists - this Independence Day parade has it all. Vendor booths include food, treats and activities for children. At the main stage there is live music and entertainment. The event concludes with a fireworks show at dusk.
