The Wild Arts Festival celebrates nature in the work of regionally and nationally known artists and writers. Now in its 37th year, the Festival is the Northwest's premier show and sale of nature-related art and books. More than 4,700 nature lovers and art enthusiasts attended the 2016 Festival, raising over $180,000 for the Audubon Society of Portland.

Featured art includes the work of painters, sculptors, jewelers, photographers, woodworkers, glassblowers and more; authors include novelists, poets, photographers and writers of non-fiction.

The Festival also features the ever-popular Silent Auction, where you can bid on beautiful artwork, gifts for your favorite naturalists and birdwatchers, and wonderful Northwest outings, excursions and weekend getaways. And you won't want to miss the fast-moving sale of 66 original bird-themed paintings by local artists!

On Sunday, visit The Nest Childrens Area on the second floor in the Mt. St. Helen Room between noon and 2 p.m. to make crafts, meet our education birds, and enjoy captivating storytelling from the books at our book fair!

Portland Audubon's education birds will be on hand throughout the weekend, along with our Nature Store booth, which will be selling nest boxes. Montgomery Park's F&B Caf will also sell food and beverages during the event.
