Plan now to come and enjoy the largest holiday bazaar on the southern Oregon coast. Friends meet friends, old and new, and find incredible bargains in a delightful variety of handcrafted items. Over 100 vendors fill two back-to-back gyms at Brookings Harbor Azalea Middle School and the High School. This one day event has been happening for 48 years (as close as we can remember!), and provides a means for local non-profits, church groups, and both local and out of town vendors to show their wares.

A favorite attraction each year is the white elephant "Christmas Grab Bag Tree." Only $1 gets the customer a wrapped gift, marked by child, boy, girl, woman, man, etc. Those funds go to pay our youth groups that help set up and take down the gyms each year. The Brookings Nite Family Community Education group has put the bazaar on each year. Funds from the vendors pay for the venues, advertising, janitorial, and other costs. The remaining funds are put to good use in providing 4-H camperships and cultural and educational opportunities. The greatest benefit, according organizers Vangie Andreason and Marilyn Shipley (tongue in cheek), is "the honor and the glory" of sponsoring such an amazing happening each year.

Food Vendors Court!

As a convenience for vendors and an enticement for customers to stay, eat and shop some more, food vendor carts will be located between the two venues. You can choose from BBQ items, burgers, dogs and even breakfast sandwiches! Food carts also serve drinks, but coffee, tea, soda and water will still be available to purchase in each venue. Tables will be set up in the cafeteria so customers will have seating. Give it a try! These are popular local food carts and serve delicious food.
